The color of the mucous membranes and capillary filling time (trc): usually, to evaluate the color of the explorable mucous membranes, reference is made to that of the gums and is detected by lifting the lip (upper or lower).

It must be pink. The trcindicates the capillary filling time and is detected by pressing a mucosa with a fingertip for a few seconds: when the finger is removed, under normal conditions, the mucosa must return to its original color in no more than two seconds.
