The explorable lymph nodes: are organs of the lymphatic system that perform an immune function.

They represent an important parameter, as in the course of infectious processes they record an increase in volume, in fact, being rich in lymphocytes, these actively multiply giving rise to an appreciability even in the normally unexplored lymph nodes. Therefore it is good to begin to feel them to your animal, to learn about their size in normal conditions and to have a reference value to be able to evaluate in case of pathologies.

We consider:

a) The inguinal lymph nodes, located in the inguinal region;
b) The popliteal lymph nodes, located in the hollow of the knee;
c) The mandibular lymph nodes, located behind the mandible;
d) The axillary lymph nodes, located in the hollow of the armpits.
